Is There A Problem
With Dial-Up Networking? |
Remove
Dial-Up Networking and then reinstall it. (The following steps are
for Windows 95, Windows 98 & Windows ME only. Also you may be asked for your
Windows CD, make sure you have this handy
BEFORE you begin this
procedure.)
To
remove Dial-Up Networking
1.
Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel,
and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
2. On the Windows Setup tab, click Communications, and
then click Details.
3. In the Communications dialog box, click to clear the
Dial-Up Networking check box, click OK, and when
prompted, restart your computer.
To reinstall Dial-Up Networking
1.
Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel,
and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
2. On the Windows Setup tab, click Communications, and
then click Details.
3. In the Communications dialog box, click to select the
Dial-Up Networking check box, click OK, and when
prompted, restart your computer.
