Are You Logged On To Windows
Correctly? Is the Client For Microsoft Networks Installed? |
This
problem can occur if you have installed Dial-Up Networking, but have not
installed the Microsoft Client for Microsoft Networks.
To verify that
the Client for Microsoft Networks is installed on your computer
1. Click
Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then
double-click Network.
2. On the Configuration tab, verify that
Client for Microsoft Networks appears in the list of installed components.
To install the Client for Microsoft Networks if it is not already
installed. (Must Have Windows CD)
1. Click
Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then
double-click Network.
2. Click Add.
3. Click
Client, and then click Add.
4. Under Manufacturers,
click Microsoft.
5. Under Network Clients, click Client
for Microsoft Networks, click OK, and then click OK again.
6. When you are prompted, restart your computer.
