Q: Is the Safe-t.net Filter 100% foolproof?

A:  No - but then again, NO filter is 100% foolproof.  But our filter system has performed up to 99.5% effective.  Parents still need to responsibly monitor their children's usage.   With an excellent filter AND good parental supervision, you have the best chance at preventing your loved ones from accessing offensive material on the Net.  For more information on our Filtering Criteria, click HERE. 

Q: Will the filtering system slow down my service?

A: No! On the contrary, our filter uses a sophisticated technology.  You are now not required to use a proxy settings, so it is the same as dialing up any other ISP.  Only with us you do not get all of the garbage.

Q: What if a good site is blocked, or a bad site gets through?

A:  When a site is blocked, you will get a page that looks like THIS.  (This will only work if you are dialing up to Safe-t.net, otherwise you will be taken to this site.)   It will provide a link for you to request that the site be opened.  Usually, they will send you a response by email within 24 hours. 

If an offensive site gets through the filter that you believe should be blocked, you can report the site.
