Step 1: Click on the Start menu, go to
Settings, and then Dial-Up Networking.

Step 2: Click once to select the icon that represents
the ISP connection you use (in this example it is My Connection,
select your Internet Service Provider icon.)

Step 3: Right-Click on this icon, and then
left-click once on Properties.

Step 4: Click on the check box marked Use area code
and dialing properties, and click OK.

Step 5: Double click on the same connection
icon.

Step 6: Click on the Dial Properties button.

Step 7: Click on the check box marked "To disable
Call Waiting, dial:" to select it.

Step 8: Click on the dropdown box to the right and
choose *70,. NOTE: If there are no choices, you can type in *70,.
Be sure to add the comma! Click Apply then click OK to finish.

You have now configured your computer to automatically disable call
waiting every time you log on to the Internet. |
