Terminology
Referral Credit — A credit to the
recurring monthly fee of a defined set of products.
Referring Customer — The customer
who receives the referral credit.
Referee Customer — The customer who
mentioned that someone referred them.
Referral Credit Eligibility Date —
The date when the referral credit is eligible for payment. All
of the criteria must be met.
Eligible Account — An account that
satisfies all of the policies listed below.
Eligible Products — Dial-Up
Residential and Commercial Accounts.
Customer Status — Customers can be
Active, Inactive or Pending.
Policy
- The referee customer must call the Safe-t.net number
(740-397-4800) or (888-895-8648) to sign up.
- Referee must be using the service through Safe-t.net.
- The referee customer must pay two times before the
referring customer is eligible for a referral credit.
- The referring customer must be an active Safe-t.net
customer.
- The referring customer must not be an Integrity Online
employee, Agent, or Retail Store where Safe-t.net's Starter
Kits are sold.
- The referral credit eligibility evaluation takes place on
the billing date of the referring customer.
- The referring customer must have purchased an eligible
product and the referee customer must purchase a Starter
Kit.
- The referral credit is $10.00.
- The referring and the referee customer must be active when
the referral credit is being evaluated or the credit will be
denied.
- At the time of referral credit eligibility evaluation, the
referring and the referee customer must have an eligible
product that is active. If the product is not active for
both parties, the referral credit will be denied.
- At the time of referral credit eligibility evaluation, the
referring and the referee customer must be current in their
payments. If both parties are not current in their payments,
the referral credit will be denied.
- If the customer becomes inactive, all of their referral
credits are cancelled.
- If the customer cancels their eligible product or
products, all of their referral credits are cancelled.
- The referral credit can only be applied to the recurring
monthly fee.
- A referral credit can not be refunded. In other words, a
referral credit has no cash value. The referral credit only
has value if the credit is applied to a recurring monthly
fee.
- If the referee has free days of service the referral
credit eligibility date will commence after the free days.
- Double dipping is prohibited. Customer A cannot refer
Customer B and then Customer B refer Customer A.
Examples
Scenario #1:
The referee orders Starter Kit on
2/1/99. On 3/1/99, the referee will have paid twice. The
referring customer pays on the 15th of every month. As a result,
the referral credit eligibility date is 3/15/99.
